Maria created a warm personal place with comfortable furniture and clean amenities. Although heavy trains pass very close, they don't bother at all. You have two windows from which you can see the strong current of the river Rhine.

Die Gegend im Ganzen ist traumhaft schön. Das Zimmer (Nr 1) war liebevoll eingerichtet. Man konnte in der Küche Kaffee und Tee zubereiten und in einer Honesty Bar auch Wasser, Tütensuppe und weiteres erstehen. Ich hatte den Eindruck, dass es den Inhabern ein Anliegen ist, dass man sich bei ihnen wohlfühlt.
So richtig wohlfühlen konnte ich mich leider trotzdem nicht. Auch wenn es oberflächlich durchaus sauber schien, war durch zu viele Dekoartikel und offene Leitungen leider viel Staub in der Luft. Als Allergikerin habe ich darunter sehr gelitten.
Der Raum war kalt, hatte kein Tageslicht und das Wasser im Bad war eisig. Ich wollte den Wasserkocher im Zimmer nutzen, da flog die Sicherung raus.
Die Züge sind natürlich im ganzen Rheintal ein Problem, hier fahren sie wirklich alle 5min direkt am Haus entlang. Das Geräusch ist wahrnehmbar, aber gedämpft. Ich fand es gar nicht mal so schlimm. Aber die Kälte und starke allergische Reaktion auf den Staub, haben mich noch tagelang begleitet.
