L'espace et le charme un peu retro de l'appartement, la proximité avec Wimereux(on peut y aller à pied). Nous avons bien dormi! Il y a l'équipement nécessaire pour se préparer un petit déjeuner.
Escaliers un peu raides entre le palier et le séjour de l'appartement. Pour nous ça convenait mais il ne faut pas avoir de gros problemes physiques.

Only the stairs going up to the apartment were challenging for us but for the rest absolutely everything was great !

The location was perfect for us as we were trying to escape fireworks for the sake of our dog. The town is small and we had some lovely walks where we even saw waterfalls.
The owner replied to me two days before our stay and was helpful and responsive.
The radiators in the house ensured we were warm and cosy the whole time which was lovely.
The mattress in the bedroom was comfortable and clean.
The kitchen facilities were fine and everything worked just as needed for the two nights.
Unfortunately, there are some things that were disappointing too. The stairs were extremely steep and not suitable for our dog. This meant we had to carry a 40kg dog up and down a steep staircase. However, there was a picture of the stairs in the advert so this is not the owner's fault but mine.
This could have been forgotten had it not been for the extremely unsafe railing. The first time we even touched the railing to enter the apartment, it was loose and hanging off the wall. We had to be careful not to touch the railing for the whole visit as we were afraid it would simply fall out of the wall. This has been reported in at least two older reviews and I am surprised this is still a problem. Navigating such a staircase without a railing while carrying a dog was nerve-wracking.
Secondly, the bedroom has mould on the walls, it smelt mouldy and the bed felt damp. Unfortunately, I was so uncomfortable sleeping in such a space that I slept on the couch (which was very comfortable). I understand how old houses can get mould, but this felt unsanitary.
