About this house rental
The home features a 4.5' deep pool available until 10pm from May to October. The pool is heated to 85 degrees Fahrenheit if needed. The pool is located behind your hosts' home (not the guesthouse where you'll be staying) but your hosts always respect your privacy.
LOCATION - Located on a farm 9 miles southwest of Fredericksburg
HOSTS - Home all to yourselves. Host lives on the property
SLEEPS - 5 persons- Two bedrooms; one with a queen bed and second has a full bed. There is also a single rollaway bed.
BATH - 1 Bathroom with a walk-in shower
KITCHEN - Fully-equipped kitchen with a Keurig & traditional coffeemaker.
BREAKFAST - Breakfast fixings are left for you as well as coffee and teas
AMENITIES - 4.5' deep pool (available until 10pm from May to October, and only heated to 85 degrees Fahrenheit if needed) that is located behind your host's home (not the guesthouse where you'll be staying), 36” flat screen television in living room, direct TV, DVD, WiFi, gas grill, back porch with seating, 40 acres with views, sheep & deer on the property, one garage parking spot available

Up to two dogs are allowed at the property but there is a weight limit of 25 lbs. for each one and we ask that you crate them in your absence. However, if your dog is heavier than the weight limit, please ask if an exception can be made, as one will generally be granted. Furthermore, we do charge a pet fee of $22/dog/night (before tax). Due to the fact that HomeAway/VRBO does not allow us to charge for more than one dog at the time of booking, please let us know if you'll be bringing two dogs when you book, so that we can insure that you are charged accordingly. Furthermore, please bring crates for your dogs and crate them in your absence from the house, do not allow the dogs on furniture or beds, and pick up and properly dispose of their waste. If these rules are not followed, there will be an additional $200 charge added to your reservation.
Please Note: You are renting a cabin in the Hill Country which means you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Racoons, ETC). Please be aware of your surroundings, and take caution while driving at night. You may also encounter the various bugs, spiders, scorpions and mice that live in the country AND sometimes do make their way inside. All properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee no pests or bugs will be visible.

What a lovely property. The sheep grazing in the pasture. Big oak trees. Texas sunsets. It was amazing!!! We will go back for sure. Shooting stars. I could go on and on.

This property was a perfect getaway for relaxing and catching up with old friends. The sheep were fun to watch, the sunsets from the pool were gorgeous, and the sunrises from the back porch were the perfect way to wake up. We grabbed some groceries after a day of shopping in Fredericksburg, and then never left the property again; complete relaxation. The hosts were present, but we never felt like we were imposing. The guest house was a perfect distance from the main house. We were 3 women traveling alone and felt completely safe the entire time. We highly recommend this property for a relaxing getaway.

They were there for our nephews wedding. And the father and mother of the groom accompanied us. The house was immaculate, and the pool was absolutely beautiful. Awesome Hill Country views, and excellent host.
