Good area and value, the other residents and most of the staff are wonderful.
The pool was not operational all year round. The rooms are not thoroughly cleaned everyday, but maybe once or twice/week. My room had one roach in it and a spider so there is no insect treatment being done here. I have stayed over a month due to a mostly quiet environment, safe-nice area to walk.
I realize the manager is trying her best to keep the grounds quiet for all guests, but promised the pool area would open and that day was delayed. A tornado hit this building and the manger actually told two grown guests that there "is a 10pm curfew; get back in your rooms."

Close to the major highway short drive to Galveston Island. Room came with a kitchenette next time I’ll bring my stuff for a longer stay and cook in the room.
Shower threw me off but good size

Pretty much as expected for a cheap, budget hotel. Sheets, towels, room etc. were all clean.
