Thornton Manor is a fine grade 11 listed house built in the middle of the 19th Century in the Elizabethan style and surrounded by exquisite park and gardens.
With an emphasis on comfort, & warmth – our cottages are fully equipped for a relaxing and memorable stay. We have fourteen cottages available within the grounds, each one distinctively elegant and laced in history and charm.

Room was comfortable and clean, however, having the dog encouraged us to explore the wonderful estate on a sunny morning. We discovered the lake, old rose garden, statues, and various other parts of history which were obviously once well loved but in need of a little TLC following the fire. Hopefully it can be reinstated to its former glory soon but still a gorgeous walk.
