La Striscia is a 800 ha grain producing estate located in an enviable location with breathtaking views over the rolling hills between Volterra and the Florentine landscape. The beautiful main villa is located in the middle of the estate, sometimes inhabited by the owners and completely surrounded by luxuriant woods and fields. In the estate, there are two newly restored farm houses called Belvedere and Licchiano. Villa Belvedere is the perfect name as there are splendid views in all directions thoughout the rolling hills that seem to extend endlessly toward the horizon. Completely independent, Villa Belvedere is 240smq, on 2 floors, and it is reached by a short, lovely unpaved road (600 mts). In the garden, in a panoramic and sunny position there is a swimming pool (11,50 x 5,50 mts - depth 1,50 mts; seasonal opening) furnished with deck chairs and sun umbrella and a large gazebo with table for dining out. Villa Belvedere is a perfect choice for a relaxing country holiday Volterra and San Gimignano are both 15 km away from the property.
This two-floor villa consists of a spacious kitchen (oven, 4 burners, dishwasher, fridge with freezer , microwave oven, American coffee maker, kettle, squeezer and toaster); one double bedroom with ensuite shower bathroom on the ground floor.
On the first floor there is a very spacious living room with a fireplace, satellite tv and DVD player, two twin bedrooms; one double bedroom; two bathrooms (one with shower, one with tub).
Laundry room and pizza oven are at the guests disposal.
The prices include water, gas, electricity, linen changed weekly, air conditioning, final cleaning, use of the pool .Pool towels provided for free. Baby bed available for free upon request.
