Wonderful to meet Ed and Shelley and their friendly dogs at their beautiful bed and breakfast. We enjoyed the Umbrian countryside with a bit of Texas flair, as well as a visit to Gubbio, which is only a short drive away. Thanks for the hospitality!

We cannot recommend enough about Lo Smarrino! The place is beautiful, quiet, there is a little stream giving its amazing calming sound, and the place is very well taken care of. The room was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. But the biggest light of our stay was Edwardo, the owner, who accepted us in such a generous way, cooked us beautiful breakfasts, and mainly helped us a lot and went above and beyond assisting us in any way he could with a big problem we faced with our rental car. We were so touched by his kindness and modesty and will always have a place for him in our hearts. We wish we could spend more time at Lo Smarrino and get to meet more of Shelley, Edwardo's wife.

Beautiful location very peaceful and tranquil. Very friendly and hospitable hosts. Extremely comfy bed and big roomy shower. Lovely animals!!
