Die gute Internetanbindung bei Shaun hat uns gefallen. Der freundliche Gastgeber war immer Hilfsbereit. Der Ort Wool ist ein guter Spot, da es von dort aus kurze Wege zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung hat.
-> London mit dem Zug (3 Std, au der Zugfahrt lässt sich die Landschaft gut erkunden)
-> Stonehenge mit dem Auto (1std)
-> Jurrassic Coast (Durdle Door, ManOwar Cove) (15 Min. mit dem Auto)
-> Salisbury cathedral (45min mit dem Auto, lässt sich prima auf dem Weg zur Stonehenge erledigen :)
Dank der Schlüsselbox im Hauseingang zur Übergabe sind spätere An- und Abreise kein Problem.
Die alte Couch im Wohnzimmer ist ziemlich aufgeritten.
Der Kühlschrank ist für 2 Leute gerade so ausreichend, könnte aber größer sein.
Frühstücksbretter wären nice.

The location.
The shower, very powerful 💪
It was a bit tired looking and could do with a bit of tlc. Garden overgrown around front door, defective door trim, damaged carpet.
Although not advertised as available, I asked if there was the use of an iron and ironing board. I was flying to the area due a wedding and had a shirt that would need ironed again after travel. Initially I was told no, and when I asked what other guests had done was told no one had ever asked for an iron before. I was then informed by the owner that there was no iron for fear of damage to fixtures and fittings. I could understand this if the place was decorated to a 10/10 standard but imo it's not. In an attempt to come to a compromise the owner then offered me the use of an iron and iron board at a pre-arranged time and only if under supervision. I declined!
