La gentillesse des hôtes tout d'abord et l'emplacement de l'hébergement (avec un petit parking privé attenant) à quelques minutes à pied du centre du village où se trouvent le musée du débarquement et diverses choses historiques relatives à la 2e guerre mondiale. La chambre d'hôtes est composée d'un salon "cosy"en rdc avec livres et CD pour écouter de la musique (mais pas de TV) avec un petit coin bar où les hôtes mettent à disposition des petites bouteilles d'eau et de quoi faire un thé/tisane ou un café. La chambre se trouve au 1er étage avec salle de bains et toilettes. Tout est super propre. Fantastique petit déjeuner (13e par personne par Booking)

Very comfortable. A nice living room area and a small garden outside. The apartment was very well situated in the town, with everything you could want within short walking distance. Secure parking available for one car. The owners were extremely welcoming, hospitable and responsive. The breakfast was also delicious (additional charge payable)
A couple of suggestions as to how it could be even better would include a wardrobe for hanging clothes and also a mini fridge for keeping drinks and perishable goods cool.

A charming old cottage with a large lounge, bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The hostess Agnes is a lovely lady who can advise about local areas and is really kind and helpful. There is free parking at the back of the property. You can't beat the location as it's in the heart of the old town of Arromanches. Perfect for the beach and seeing local sites. The owner has many interesting books on local history which you can peruse.
The mattress on the bed felt old and not supportive - it probably could do with replacing.
We felt breakfast at 13 euros each (for bread, butter, jam, coffee, yogurt with fruit), whilst beautifully laid out & prepared, was a bit expensive. Perhaps adding some cooked food like eggs, bacon, and some local pastries, would make it fairer to charge 13 euros.
