House in Russian River, CA

About this house rental
A historically LGBTQ & allies recreation and resort destination just over an hour from San Francisco, Guerneville turns into the biggest little town in the warmer months, filled with visitors who all seek to bask in the sun while floating lazily down the Russian River after sipping on local wine. The house is 5 minutes from the nearest grocery store as well as downtown, which features a variety of LGBTQ bars, local fare, cafes, vintage shops, a post office, a yoga studio, a massage therapist, an aesthetician, a laundromat, and art galleries. The coastline and nearest beach is 15 minutes away, dozens of vineyards are within 20 minutes by car, and endless hiking and biking trails cover the area from the coast to the 101. The nearest access point into the river is a locals "beach" that is at the bottom of our hill and across River Road, but there are plenty of public access points as well as kayak, canoe, and inner tube rentals.
We are looking for a quiet individual or couple to treat our home with the same love and respect we do, who can enjoy the peace and serenity of staying in our house on the hill, while enjoying the nightlife and summer offerings of our community. Neighbors are on two sides but there's still a great sense of privacy when you are here.
You will need a car to get around the area and please note that there are several ways to get to our house (all paved) but all of them are uphill - one route being quite steep (but absolutely manageable in a sedan).
Also of note for anyone who has never visited Guerneville: we are in the middle of the woods so anticipate potentially coming in contact with nature! It's a beautiful thing to see deer grazing in the front yard, and it's a typical thing to see a spider near front door.
