It was perfect . Close to the beach where I can wake up and walk to the beach to surf . Close to many things if you need something. A wonderful family owns the place and they are very kind.

I enjoyed housekeeping only servicing my room on request & the high level of anonymity when coming & going to the property after hours (sometimes you just want to get a cheeky chocolate thick-shake at 3am from the circle K without the hotel staff judging you 😂).

Nice place to stay for a while. Big bright room, a good bed. It wasn't a problem for me, but there was very loud music every evening in the nearby bar, just note it.

There were only a bed, closet, and coffee table with a couple of chairs in a large room. Without something like a regular table was uncomfortable to work. Very bad smell in the bathroom. There was no hot water. But I think I just had a bad room because my friend didn't have such problems even with the facilities.

Great location and the owner is lovely and super sweet.

Very dated, old place and not so clean. The photos definitely don’t match reality. Sheets were dirty and we had to ask for them to change them. The shower head had all calcium built up so we had to clean this before water could flow out properly. The bathroom tap also spat out brown water at times. Wifi was slow. Only stairs so if you have luggage then keep this in mind. Honestly I’m surprised by the reviews and suspect the higher rating is because it’s a guesthouse and the owner is very sweet. We only booked it to stay in for half a day before a late night flight and even those few hours were a bit much for us. I’ve stayed at many other places in Bali at the same price point that are of much higher quality and standards so would not stay here again.
