About this cottage rental
UNIQUE, 35 minutes from Paris! In the middle of a 3.5-hectare condominium, you can enjoy part of the former stables of the Château du Piple. Dating from the 18th century, the castle and its outbuildings form a unique ensemble listed as a historic monument.
Surrounded by 110 hectares of woodland, you might even encounter deer! Paris is only 35 minutes away via the RER A, and the RER station is a 12-minute walk from the condominium.
The house is spacious and comfortable, ideal for a stay with family or friends. The kitchen and living room can comfortably accommodate 10 people, allowing everyone to find their own tranquility and enjoy the surroundings and amenities. The living room/kitchen area measures 80 m².
In the evening, owls hoot, and at night, there's not a sound. Perfect for restful nights.
In winter, the house is warm and cozy. In summer, it's radiant and feels like a vacation home, open and welcoming.
The kitchen is well-equipped and houses a period piece of furniture used to store riding equipment.
The living room, opening onto the kitchen, is spacious and bright. To make your winter evenings even more cozy, there's a wood-burning stove. And if you're a musician, you might be able to get the house dancing by playing the piano.
On the ground floor, you'll find a gym and relaxation room, as well as a bathroom and toilet where you can exercise, practice yoga, play ping-pong, or take a sauna.
Upstairs, there's a library, four large bedrooms (one separated from the landing by curtains), a large bathroom with a toilet, bathtub, and shower, and an office area.
Take a stroll in the park or the surrounding forests, visit the Caillebotte house, do your grocery shopping in the village of Sucy, and of course, enjoy Paris and reach Disneyland in 40 minutes.
If you're coming by car, a parking space is reserved inside the building, and there are spaces outside on the private driveway that leads to the building!
Apart from the parking spaces, I live in the house, and when I leave it for you, I also leave "Chaussette" and "Mowgli," two adorable cats who are independent thanks to a cat flap and a kibble dispenser.
The house and the building have a lot of charm, especially thanks to their old-world character; you won't find yourself in a modern or sterile home.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely farmhouse. The grounds are beautiful, the people are friendly and there are lots of woods and nature to explore!! The owner Gilles is very easy to communicate with and answers your texts very quickly. The kitchen was fantastic for all of the family meals - lots of room and an excellent oversized oven and gas range. The glass fireplace is very easy to use and is welcoming and cozy. The fourth bedroom is a media room/bedroom with a curtain that you draw - good for visitors for a night or two. This house met our needs for a family holiday and would highly recommend it!
