Cute cottage in a lively location - near a great pub and coffee shop. Walking distance to the town centre (30 mins).
Overall not very clean - bin was dirty and rug in the front room was not clean. Kitchen was very basic - had a dishwasher but no tablets for it. There was washing up liquid though. I’ve stayed in much better through other sites, which provided basic food items in the kitchen and basic bathroom items. Overall, poor value for money.

Lovely little house located in a nice neighbourhood, close to a large park and with easy access to the town centre (30 mins on foot, 5 mins by bus). It's equipped with all basics needed, lovingly decorated.
Two minuses: 1) the bathroom - the room is (very) small and doesn't allow for a full-size bath; a shower would provide more space to move around and better access to the window. 2) cleanliness - it all looks okay at first glance but the floors seemed not to have been hoovered, surfaces were dusty and dishes/cutlery needed to be washed before use; basically, we felt that the house may have been cleaned a long time ago but an additional cleaning was not done before our arrival. We've tried to use the hoover but were put off by the dirty tips and the smell coming out, likely due to unclean filter and unchanged bag. We've used it anyway to remove the hair that wasn't us in the bath and on the bathroom floor.

Its close proximmity to friends at Bermaside House. It was OK for a 3-night stay. The heating system is fine and no complaints on that score. Cooking facilities are just about sufficient. Good double glazing and a secure property and not much that one can do to improve the constriaints.
The bedrooms are tight for space and the double bed is difficult to access close to the wall. The bed linen was clean, but seemed to have a magnetic attractin to nightwear. Arriving late at the property, we had expected at least a few tea bags or coffee to make a drink - something to welcome us in - but no such provisions! A very steep cobbled access, not passable by car and a distance to carry luggage, with the car abandoned on waste ground at the top of the 'drive' 80 metres from the front door. A fairly steep staircase needs care.
