Centrally located between Santa Cruz and Monterey, this property is situated on 2 1/2 acres overlooking the pacific ocean. The unit has two bedrooms with a large split single bath. The unit is the an entire first floor of a two story home. Well suited as a central hub for visiting Santa Cruz and Monterey. It includes two private entrances and full kitchen. Partial ocean view, 15 min walk to the beach. The property includes a patio with access to beautiful gardens and a fire pit.

We have stayed at this location many times and we always have a blast! The location is perfect and incredibly peaceful. You are sure to see deer, rabbits, lots of lizards, and beautiful vegetation. The beach is a short hike that is just over a half mile through the campground. Capitola is about 20 minutes away and the Monterey Aquarium is about 40 minutes away. Mark and Lisa are AMAZING hosts and they think of everything you might need. There are bath and batch towels, shampoo, conditioner, and even a bar of soap! In the kitchen there are many spices, a Keurig with coffee pods and creamer, ketchup, mustard, water, ice, and a stick of butter! Which was great because I forgot butter at the store. Mark responds quickly to texts and always ensures we have everything we need and a wonderful stay. We can’t wait to come back soon!

We loved our stay! The place is even better in person. Very spacious with all the little details to make it feel like home. Our kids were excited to find board games and we appreciated the snacks after a long trip. One thing to note is that the room with twin bed does not have a door. This wasn’t a problem for us at all but may not work for some groups. We also enjoyed all the host’s beautiful art. Would come back!
