"Rumbling Pointe at Lake Lure" is a brand new gated six (6) bedroom, seven (7) bathroom (plus outdoor shower) home built in the tradition of the classic 1940's lake house homes of yesterday. With 5000+- sq.ft. of air-conditioned living space and 5000+- sq.ft. of covered porch space, the home's 10,000+- square feet of living space provides significant indoor and covered outdoor space to spread out and enjoy the lake made famous by the movie "Dirty Dancing". The on-porch 50 inch Roku TV allows guests to watch sports while enjoying the outdoors under the covered 12 foot wide porch. The middle on-porch bed swing provides countless hours of reading and relaxation opportunities. With three (3) covered porch's to choose from guests have ample opportunities to enjoy the views of Rumbling Bald and Lake Lure. Prior to arrival you will receive a guest preference questionnaire which will help us further refine your stay's possibilities at Rumbling Pointe at Lake Lure. Rumbling Pointe at Lake Lure has four King Bed (4) en-suite bedrooms, two (2) bunkrooms and an elevator (extra charge) connecting all floors. Rumbling Pointe has a natural sandy beach for easy lake access and a dock and boat house.
This property has an active monitored fire, theft and water security system and eight active security cameras on premise. Two cameras are pointed to the driveway facing the gate and road and a second pointed down the driveway towards the house. One camera faces down the rear stairs towards the boathouse. One camera faces towards the boat house and the lake shore. One camera faces the HVAC equipment and the south side of the house. Two cameras face north and south along the third floor balcony. And one camera faces north along the second floor balcony. No cameras face towards the interior of the home. All cameras are for security and insurance purposes only. 3301244

Booked Rumbling Pointe for my bridal party for my wedding that happened to coincide with Hurricane Helene. Not only did this property exceed expectations for what it was “supposed” to be: Our “getting ready” spot and our “day after the wedding” party spot, it SAVED OUR WEDDING. Built on higher ground and like a fortress compared to the other homes on the lake, Rumbling Pointe became my wedding venue when the hurricane decimated the original location. With its powerful generator humming along, we were able to still get married, feed ourselves and our wedding guests, and make the most of what turned out to be an absolute disaster for the rest of Lake Lure. The owners were incredible. They opened their liquor cabinet to us, checked in on us often, and did ABSOLUTELY everything they could to make our stay as nice as it could have been. All that said, this house is THE most incredible place to host a wedding or your wedding guests. This house is absolutely perfect and will even get you through a hurricane, flooding, and power outages!!! 100/10 recommend.

Had a fabulous time. Property came with everything we could have needed. Space was perfect for a small 30 person wedding and week long family reunion. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay.
