The apartment is in the heart of the Centro Storico, a very vibrant area with lots of great restaurants serving delicious Ligurian cuisine - Laura and Manuela gave us a list of the most interesting ones to try and they were all wonderful. They also were very helpful when we arrived. The apartment was larger than it appears on the website, with two sizeable bedrooms and very comfortable beds. To respond to one of the other reviewers, while the area has local 'character', we never felt worried, in fact it added to the interest. We would certainly return to Lanterna if we were in Genova again.

Appartamento accogliente e pulito, ben collegato. Sono presenti giochi per i più piccoli, un seggiolone e il box su richiesta. Molto apprezzato. La posizione è centrale.
Purtroppo il portone d'entrata è molto stretto. Il passeggino fa fatica a passare. È presente un ascensore che però e piccolissimo, come la porta dello stesso, e un altra volta, il passeggino non passava. Per arrivare all'ascensore sono comunque presenti scale che personalmente ci hanno messo in difficoltà. Abbastanza scomodo per queste voci. Pur essendo molto centrale come appartamento, la via in cui è sito non è il massimo della sicurezza, abbiamo trovato solo persone poco raccomandabili.
