FLEURS DE MAI, classical 18th century Normandy Cottage, situated in an amazing garden with endless activities
10Km from Honfleur and 20km from Deauville in the middle of an oasis of peace offering amazing views of the Normandy countryside.
Relax at the heated pool, play basketball, football, table tennis, petanque, jump on the trampoline and so much more
The Space:
Our property spends over 2 ha and is split in 2 distinct areas separated by a road.
The upper side of the property includes the house, the amazing architecturally designed garden, the large heated pool and a good selection of games in the double garage (ping-pong table, boxing bag, dumbbells, foosball) and a trampoline.
As you walk through the garden you will find hidden resting places from where to take in the gorgeous views of the valley , a look-out deck at the top of the garden for sipping a cocktail while enjoying the best sunset view and even a large fish pond .
We have one of the few HEATED pools in the area which you can generally enjoy from May to October. 8 x 4 meters. We are however at the mercy of the Normandy weather, so PLEASE COFIRM WITH US BEFORE BOOKING that the pool is operational.
Just outside of the house you'll find our covered and heated outdoor dining area sitting 10 people with a large Webber charcoal barbeque.
You can safely park up to 5 cars inside the fenced off garden
The 2nd part of the property is located across the road. Here you'll find
- Football field
- Basketball court
- Petanque field
- Swings
Please note: the road separating the property is busy and the field is difficult to access for people with reduced mobility or for unaccompanied children
The house is a typical Normandy farmhouse with more than 200 years of history that has been partially updated for modern day comfort.
The place has a traditional look and feel and not a luxury interior.
Ground floor:
- Cozy living room with a relaxed sitting area in front of the wood burning fireplace
- Fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, deep fryer, and tea maker
- Dining room with table for 7 people plus an additional folding table for up to 6 more
- Playroom / Lounge with an extendable double sofa and children's games
- Bathroom with a shower, 1 toilet, and a laundry area with washer and dryer
- Master Bedroom: one double bed and one additional single bed with en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet
1st floor:
3 bedrooms one after the other, with access from both sides
- 1 Room with one double bed
- 1 Room with a double bed and a single bed (to access the room, one must pass through one of the adjacent bedrooms)
- 1 Room with one double bed and open access to the living area (no door)
Whether you're wanting peace and quiet, a fun-filled get-away to bond with friends and family, or adventurous day trips packed with boating, kayaking, local gastronomy, Calvados distilleries, the Fleurs de Mai makes for an excellent home for your Normandy vacation.
Guest Access:
You'll have access to the entire domain, so you'll feel right at home.

**!! Mandatory Check-in Requirements !!**
In compliance with current law, all guests are required to provide a valid government-issued ID at the time of reservation.
After booking, you will receive an email from our system called “Check-in”. You must use this link to:
- Upload the IDs of all guests.
- Complete the mandatory €1,000 security deposit.
Please note that your entry codes will only be released once both steps have been completed.
If the check-in process is not finalized and the deposit is not paid in full, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation without refund.
These measures are legally required and strictly enforced to ensure compliance and security.
EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT
Early check-in and late check-out options can be provided for an additional fee, subject to availability in our reservations calendar. Please inquire about these options and we will do all we can to accommodate your request.
Late arrival (after 9pm) is 20€ and must be paid in cash to the person who will welcome you.
DEPOSIT
You will be responsible for any damage to the rental property caused by you or your party during your stay. The replacement costs of the damaged items will be invoiced to you.
TOWELS & LINENS
We take care of everything! Bed linen and towels provided, shampoo and shower gel at your disposal, welcome products and cleaning included.
Pets are not allowed at any time on the property
Visitors are not allowed.
Unauthorized late checkouts will be charged the equivalent of one extra night stay.
A 200eur penalty will be charge for breaking each one of the house rules listed above.

We had a 7 night stay. We were received by a very friendly Evelyne. We enjoyed the coverd patio very much where we spent must of the time. The views where great, better then the pictures. We loved the pool and the area.The master bedroom was perfect. We would not re omend for more then 6 adults.
