Where do I even begin to describe all the amenities of this wonderful place!
Booking and finding the property were both easy. There’s dedicated parking, a convenient location, and a beautiful resort-style entrance. The units are spotless, very well maintained, and equipped with like-new appliances. Everything you could possibly need is provided. The layout is thoughtful, with plenty of conveniences and privacy from other units.
Both balconies , a cute rear one and a spacious front one, are furnished and feature security blackout roll-down doors, along with large sliding doors that let in lots of light. Inside, the furnishings and decor are modern, the beds have super comfortable mattresses, and there’s an abundance of closet and drawer space complete with plenty of hangers.
You’ll find free internet, many TV options. The beautiful, roomy, modern bathroom has great ventilation and a deep bathtub. It even includes a hair dryer and starter supplies of towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap. There’s also a hidden washer with detergent pods, a drying rack, an ironing board, iron, a hamper and a vacuum if needed.
The kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil, plate, bowl, mug, pot, and pan you could want, even garbage bags, salt, pepper, sugar, and coffee. Appliances include a microwave, oven/stove, refrigerator, electric kettle, toaster, and more.There’s even a safe for valuables.
The counters are beautiful, and the couch is incredibly comfortable. We were greeted with a bowl of fresh fruit, a bottle of wine with glasses, and the local drink, raki, such a thoughtful touch.
Grocery stores, bakeries, taverns, gas stations, pharmacies, and other shops are just minutes away, and nearby restaurants deliver quickly.
The owner is so welcoming, humble and respectful that we felt completely at home. I can’t praise this place enough. It far exceeded my expectations, and after such a long trip from Canada, it was a welcomed surprise!

We loved how friendly Dimos and the apartment was perfect! It was in a great location that felt very safe. There were beach towels, regular towels, and even slippers provided. The apartment was clean and the AC would get nice and cold. The wifi also worked great! We had a group of 4 women on a girls trip and we were very glad we chose Casa Kamara!

We had a great time at Casa Kamara – everything was clean, neat and thoughtfully arranged, the kind of place that makes you feel relaxed from the very first moment. The host welcomed us personally, handed over the keys and gave us a short tour of the apartment. We were also greeted with a lovely surprise – prosecco, water and coffee capsules from the house ❤️.
We chose the apartment for the terrace and espresso machine (yes, the little details do matter 😄) – and to our surprise, there were actually two spacious terraces, where we enjoyed our morning coffee and quiet evenings.
The area is very peaceful, with cozy tavernas nearby and a few beaches within short driving distance – an ideal location if you’re looking for both relaxation and access to places to explore.
We had private parking, which was super convenient.
All in all, it’s a perfect place for couples, friends or families. We truly felt at home here!

Ne-am simțit foarte bine la Casa Kamara – totul a fost curat, ordonat și pus la punct cu atenție, exact genul de loc în care te simți relaxat din prima clipă. Gazda ne-a asteptat sa ne predea cheile si sa ne prezinte apartamentul. Ne-a așteptat și o mică surpriză din partea casei – prosecco, apă și capsule de cafea ❤️.
Am ales apartamentul pentru terasă și espressor (micile detalii contează 😄) – dar surpriza a fost ca erau două terase mari unde ne-am petrecut diminețile la cafea și serile în liniște. Zona e foarte liniștită, cu taverne simpatice aproape și câteva plaje în apropiere – locatie ideala dacă vrei liniște dar si proximitate pentru explorare. Am avut loc de parcare privat - super practic.
Ne-am simțit efectiv ca acasă – genul de loc în care ai vrea să revii, e ideal pentru 3-4 persoane, prieteni sau familii

This was our second stay at Casa Kamara and we really enjoyed coming back here. It was like coming home. The neighbourhood feels safe and friendly, the views are marvellous, the military jets provide entertainment twice a day and we just feel so relaxed here.
Dimos, the host, is really nice and he checked that all was well and we had everything we needed. He also left wine and fruit and he provided were toiletries, toilet paper and cleaning products.
The garage under the apartment kept our hire car cool, which was really useful as the car got very hot if we left it in the sunshine. There's a washing machine in the bathroom and two clothes drying racks on the rear balcony.
The location is excellent with several beautiful beaches within 20 minutes drive and more within 30 minutes drive. There are ample ATMs, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and cafes in easy walking distance.
We've had two excellent holidays here and we really recommend it.
The roads in the area need maintenance, they are very bumpy in places, but it's like that all over Crete.
