The location was great for our needs. The bed was reasonably comfortable.
The lack of a kettle was strange for a Brit. It didn't feel very safe using a saucepan every time we wanted hot water for cups of tea. We are not as much coffee lovers as the Germans. :]
There was nowhere to hang wet towels, but our attentive and friendly host dealt with this as soon as we commented on it.
We were being fed cooked meals elsewhere. If we had had to prepare all our own meals, the provision was a little basic.
