About this house rental
Idyllic 3-bedroom 2-bath Hummingway Ranch is the perfect spot for a getaway with family and friends. Located at the top of a hill with 270 degree views of the Russian River valley, this garden-filled 5-acre property is equipped with a fully stocked gourmet kitchen. Its ideal for working remotely or a retreat in wine country. All 3 bedrooms enjoy king size beds, perfect for couples or sharing space with friends and family.
Enjoy coffee next to the Koi pond while watching the sunrise over Fitch Mountain and hot air balloons taking off from the east. Cook a gourmet meal (or order in!) and dine on the expansive deck while gazing at vineyards on Westside road or the sunset over the hills. Drink wine while wandering the decorative gardens and pick fresh citrus or herbs for brunch or cocktails. Entertain the kids (and yourself!) with ping pong, corn hole, a fully-stocked game closet, and hundreds of books in the Share-Library. And, if you must work, utilize the hi-speed wifi and take your pick of one of three desks that are intentionally placed to maximize the views and natural light while you take meetings on Zoom or catch up on email.
Mid-century modern decor is a subtle compliment to the full wall of windows in the Great Room looking towards local vineyards. The Great Room has its own wet bar perfect for coffee, wine, and cocktails in addition to a table for 6. The fully stocked kitchen overlooks 4 acres of the property’s fields and sunset towards the West, with an extra wide dining table that comfortably seats up to 8.
Conveniently located 2 minutes from the Michelin Star Farmhouse Inn, 5 minutes to dozens of vineyards, 10 minutes from Sebastopol, 15 minutes from Santa Rosa airport, 15 minutes from Healdsburg, and 20 minutes to Bodega Bay, this property feels remote while having the best of West County at your fingertips.
There is a separate cottage on the property currently occupied by a groundskeeping couple. The driveway and the gardens are common spaces, but once you set foot inside the house or onto your exclusive decks you will be in your own private oasis.

Absolutely stunning property (inside and out) and a fabulous Russian River Valley location. The listing was very accurate and the property was very well appointed. The hosts thought of everything and were easy to communicate with before and during our stay. For a weeklong stay, we especially appreciated that there was an ample supply of dinnerware, serving dishes, and flatware for multiple meals. (I am guessing there was service for 14-16 people, which is very rare at a VRBO, in my experience.) The host provided good recommendations for local services, wineries, and restaurants. It was a fabulous week! We hope to return one day.

This was the phrase we said over and over again throughout our stay at this amazing home. From the fresh flowers and herb arrangement from the garden on site, to the tiny labels on everything in the house we could feel the thoughtfulness the hosts put into this home to make our stay relaxing and easy. The deck offered us breathtaking sunrises and sunsets and the location was perfect for our trip to wine country. The kitchen was incredibly stocked and allowed us to easily cook with all the conveniences we have in our own homes. Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

We loved our stay! Hosts were quick and thorough. The house was easily the most thoughtfully-appointed rental I’ve ever stayed in, they didn’t miss a thing! I want to live there full time!
Near great wineries and restaurants, but the view from the huge deck is enough in its own. Stay here, you won’t regret it.
