Welcome to The Village Retreat, a contemporary lake chalet in The Village at Mayfield Lake marina.
The space:
The Village Retreat is the ultimate lake escape. Located in The Village community of Mayfield Lake in Mossyrock, Washington, halfway from Seattle and Portland, surrounded by Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier. Mossyrock is coveted by outdoors enthusiasts, surrounded by lakes, rivers, and trails for hiking, biking, off-roading, fishing, boating, and more!
Experience the great outdoors in luxury! Vaulted ceilings and panoramic windows provide stunning lake views from this three-level, open-concept house. The home has everything you'll need for dining and entertaining from barware, dinnerware and utensils to cookware and cleaning supplies. Coffee, tea, and Breville espresso station including locally-sourced teas and coffees. The main level includes two bedrooms with queen beds, one bathroom with shower and tub, an open kitchen/dining room with desk space, and an open living room. The third floor features a primary bedroom and open loft seating area with a record player, Nintendo and smart TV. The primary bedroom features a king bed, walk-in closet, and en suite bathroom with a shower. Each bedroom is outfitted in Pendleton bedding with organic cotton linens. The bottom level is an open concept conditioned garage space with a a casual seating area, fourth bedroom, bathroom, extra refrigerator, ping pong table, and washer and dryer.
The Village Retreat is located within minutes of the lake and marina. The local marina offers daily and hourly rentals for outdoor equipment including canoes, kayaks, and boats. Located within five miles of two public boat launches. Plenty of parking on-site with room for a small RV or boat.

A new standard has been set! This place is amazing! Everything was super clean and comfortable. The views are wonderful and the upper deck is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and take it all in! The fully fenced yard was perfect for our dogs! There were so many little things that were completely above and beyond expectations…from loads of outdoor toys to enjoy, to the neat custom decor inside, to a coffee and tea caddy that beats any swanky hotel set up! The location is perfect to experience a huge range of outdoor wonders…if you can get your group to want to leave the house! The hosts were great…they sent a lot of super helpful info about the area before our trip to help us plan and they clearly maintain this property as if they will be spending their next vacation there! All around the best VRBO at which I’ve ever stayed!

We chosen this beautiful A-frame house for our traditional summer lake vacation with family and friends. Our adult kids enjoyed the ping pong table, the kayaks, the paddle boards, the space in the game room. We hiked to the Dog Mountain. We did bbq and enjoyed the view from deck. The neighbors were nice, the area is clean and well kept. No enough space to describe how spoiling is the kitchen. We were in awe. Huge thanks to the owners, they made our experience truly relaxing and memorable.

We were a group of 7 family members. The amenities exceeded any other place I’ve been. The owners were available and accommodating. I have to say that this is one of the best rental properties I’ve stayed at. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here.
