My partner and I rented this property for one month as we looked for our long term rental. We enjoyed the HP area but wished we were in walking distance to the more popular areas on York and Fig.
The ADU has a cool modern design and was fully stocked with bath and kitchen essentials.
I think we would have avoided a few move-in hiccups had there been more time between the last guest’s checkout and our check-in but everything eventually was resolved.
Some key takeaways:
-Great to have off-street parking for 2 cars as the street parking is hard to find and the street is very narrow.
-Great backyard and patio space for our dog but the space is shared with the main house and their 2 dogs.
-The ADU is located in the back of the property so you have to walk past the main house’s side door where you are greeted with loud dog barks almost every time you come back to the property.
-The W/D is shared with the main house and not always available to use.
-The stairs inside the ADU are much steeper than the picture in the listing shows which didn’t work out for our dog.
-We enjoyed the warm backed cookies upon arrival though!
-Blithe was quick to reply and available via text for most of our questions.

This ADU was great! Every detail was thought through and the host was very attentive. My partner and I were relocating to LA from Chicago. The property served us very well while we found our full time rental. The neighborhood was pleasant for dog walks and overall a good vibe. Could not recommend this ADU more to the next guest. Cheers!
