Here you’ll experience a sense of peace and tranquillity being deep in the countryside and yet under two miles from the picturesque town of Pateley Bridge having a variety of independent shops, pubs, restaurants, takeaways, and other amenities. Centred on a network of local footpaths and close to sections of the Nidderdale way and Pennine way the location is ideal for those who love walking. Whether you’re looking for gentle walks or more of a challenge you’ll find trails along rivers Nidd and Wharfe, around the many nearby reservoirs, or high on the hills and moors above Nidderdale and Wharfedale. For cyclists many great routes are on the doorstep including the Tour de France and Yorkshire challenges of Greenhow Hill and Blubberhouses Hill. An amazing little place to stay. Well provided, very comfortable and clean and so cozy after a long walk in the February chill. It’s surrounded by beautiful countryside with so many walks on the doorstepNina has thought of everything - even down to the slow cooker (perfect to come home to our meal cooking after a bracing walk!)If you want a break away from the hustle and bustle this is an excellent choice.

We had a perfect stay in The Burrow. Gorgeous cottage with everything we needed and dog friendly. We were given some lovely treats for the humans and dog. The surrounding area is beautiful. Hope to be back soon. Would 100% recommend.

A wonderful stay in a stunning cottage. The location was perfect with beautiful walks from the door. Hosts were helpful and friendly and welcome pack was appreciated. Could not be improved; we would love to return one day!
