Saturn's Return

I slept so well each night and woke up to a chorus of birds & sunshine pouring through the windows. The coffee & homemade breakfast goodies were deliciously divine. I felt pampered and rejuvenated, can't wait to visit again.

The location was private and quiet. It was on a farm. It almost seemed like we had the run of the place to ourselves. The common, communal areas were nice.

The location. Further outside of Friday Harbor than I imagined. However, that was a blessing in disguise as it forced us to see more of the island than we probably would have seen. Plus, the drive from Saturn's Return back to Friday Harbor was not super long. You are generally supposed to park behind another farm building, but the walk is negligible.

Everything was beautiful and comfortable.

I would have liked more variety for breakfast.

the room was advertised as coming with a bath and robes, neither of which was available. the whole building was dark, in fact i almost pulled the fire alarm looking for a light switch when we first entered the house. we turned a few lights on so we could see without using our phone flashlights and then someone who looked like a worker walked through the space and turned those lights off (while we were sitting at the table lol) it was cold inside and there were no extra pillows or blankets to be found additionally, when i texted the owner emma asking about additional blankets and expressing my disappointment with the space — so as not to surprise the owners with this review — she did not reply to a single text of mine. despite posting her phone number around the building with a sign saying to text if you needed anything. breakfast was cold egg quiche. they sell honey at their farm stand but didn’t offer any with the tea stand out in the kitchen. there’s also no sink access tho there is a fridge to store food. this place was doing the least. there are no rugs, no curtains, no blankets. it’s not warm, it’s not cozy. save your money and stay elsewhere.
