Spacious Castillo Sohail by Costarentals - Ref 12

The location was good, near the shops. Terrace is huge as is the hot tub. Lots of bedrooms, although we only used one. Bed was very comfortable.

Lounge needs painting. Cooke has a knob missing so you have no idea what temp you are setting it to. Sofa is dirty. Light in bathroom worked sometimes. Tap in en-suite would not stay on. 50% of sun loungers were broken. Door on fridge/freezer should be on the other side and put something under it to stop it rocking. Otherwise it traps your fingers against the wall!

Very easy check in and good communication prior to arrival. Picking up keys at the airport made it that much easier too. Easy to use jacuzzi, comfortable beds, good water pressure. Walking distance from the beach, Carre Four (within a mall), dining places, and the conference area where we attended seminars Friday - Sunday. As we did large grocery runs we took a taxi from just outside the mall for just €5. Massive terrace/balcony with amazing views. Good functioning bbq, plenty of (lounge) chairs. Beach towels provided along with regular towels. Good wifi. We brought a Firestick to stream movies / series so can't comment on TV function outside of that. Multiple extension cords are available too. Plenty of sockets for all chargers.

The rating of this apartment could very easily go up to a 9 or 10 even if it weren't for the following issues (that being said, we will most likely book it again in April for the next conference and buy some own supplies if these things haven't been sorted out by then): The dishwasher wasn't very good. Had to do 3+ runs each time, even with rinsed off plates that we ended up pre-cleaning. Informed host of non-functional light in one of the bathrooms and never heard back. The filter coffee machine needs replacing asap. Making a large batch (full can) took insanely long and the machine would turn off half-way. The fridge door opens the other way into the kitchen - counterintuitive and kept blocking the pathway. Check out at 10am seems a bit early. 11am like a lot of hotels in the area would be more preferable. There was only 1 kitchen knife and 1 (bread?) knife, making dinner preps for a large group more challenging due to having to share the cutting knife. The oven is missing the temperature knob so it was slight guesswork as to what temperature it was set to but we managed OK. There's plenty of cutlery but cooking utensils are in need of an update / expansion. As there're a lot of separate recycling bins outside in Spain, multiple designated bins should be provided rather than just the one to ensure we can recycle easily and properly. I didn't try it but my friends did : struggled quite a bit with buzzing people in so we would go downstairs to let them in. Would be good to add a how-to to the existing manual if possible.

Huge, spacious balcony that was great for relaxing.

Jacuzzi wouldn’t heat up for first few days and bad smell from air conditioning in living room and pipes outside sometimes.

Att det var stort och bra med utrymme. Nära till centrum och köpcentrum.

När man använde båda duscharna samtidigt försvann vattentrycket. Två solstolar o parasollet var trasigt när vi kom.
