Charming typical stone house with modern amenities

Ruhig im Dorf gelegen mit guten Möglichkeiten vom Haus aus zu wandern und zu den Kletterfelsen zu kommen. Gut ausgestattete Küche und schöne Dusche.

Zum Wohnraum führt, wie bereits mehrfach erwähnt, eine sehr steile kurze Treppe. Vom Erdgeschoss zum Obergeschoss führt ebenfalls eine sehr steile Treppe mit kleinen Auftrittsflächen. Die Wohnung kann nur über das Splitgerät der Klimaanlage beheizt werden; während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts (im März) wurde es nicht gemütlich warm.

The apartment is very charming and well decorated. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay: Kitchen is complete, laundry machine, dishwaher, nespresso coffee machine. Parking is always available and it is 20 meters away. There is a restaurant about 450 meters away, which was very good. The bed was very comfortable and yes, there is a window in the ceiling, however there is a control with which you can close the blinds (if the light bothers you). Host was very attentive to our questions and was very clear on their communications. The town Ruoms is very close by with plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. There are also a couple of bakeries in Ruoms, and the Super U for grocery shopping. The town Chauzon is very quite and it is perfect for relaxing. Also it is a superb location to do quite a few treks....specially "Le Cirque de Gens" (highly recommended) and the trek to Balazuc via Viel Audon. Very close, you can also rent electrical bikes at "Ma Balade a Velo", excellent plan to spend the day enjoying the bike trails going to Vallom-Pont-dÁrc. Also plenty of choices to kayak for half a day (12 km) and you get to see the Pon-dÁrc. Plenty of places where to swim in the river, we particularly like the town Labeaume and the beach at Le Cirque de Gens. We were not in the high season, so we didn't have to worry much about parking and it was for free whenever we went. We for sure will return to the apartment!

We like everything, just be aware of other comments about the steps at the entrance (we didn't have any problems), however for people with disabilities might be an issue.

Logement très agréable dans un petit village calme avec des places de parking accessible à proximité et bien placé pour visiter les points d'intérêts des alentours (Balazuc, Vogüe, Labeaume, cirque des Gens, ...). A l'intérieur, on se sent comme à la maison, de la cuisine bien équipée au coin salon très cosy, en passant par la chambre confortable et la salle de bain spacieuse, rien à redire ! L'endroit est chaleureux et bien décoré !

Les escaliers d'entrée et d'accès à la chambre sont un peu raides mais rien d'insurmontable ! Je n'ai pas réussi à faire fonctionner les stores des velux ni régler les spots connectés du salon malgré les télécommandes bien présentes.
