Hotel Il Vicoletto

Location was great and close to all the pilgrimage sites. 3 minutes' walk to the tomb of St. Carlos Acutis and house of St. Francis.

I stayed in Room#1 Double Room. The bathroom in that room was very inconvenient. So called shower, toilet and sink were all in one floor level that when you shower, the whole area gets wet. That was a real pain! Parking was also a super pain! When I booked, the host said there was parking close by but he was not pleasant at all to provide us with decent information on where to park. There is no place closely to park. Ended up paying 15 Euros per night for parking at a place far off. We got there at night and had a really tough time finding the place. We were traveling with elderlies, and host did not offer to step out and guide us. Breakfast was the same the 2 days we stayed there, though glad it was offered.

Nice room, nice location, nice breakfast

No problems

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Il Vicoletto. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from Piazza del Comune and very central to all the main sights in Assisi. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of options including yogurts, ham, cheese, fresh fruit, and delicious pastries.

The only downside was that the shower head is fixed, which made showering a little less convenient, but it’s a minor issue in an otherwise excellent experience.

Location

Waited 2 hours to get access to room before finally being let in by another guest. No one available in the morning to provide access to breakfast and received a response and hour after departure to advise breakfast was offered in another local cafe. Very difficult to contact and very poor communication
