Good location, few minutes walking distance from the centre. Good positioned for departure to different sky areas
The room was badly smelling especially in the afternoon. The bed was not very comfortable!

The hospitality of this hotel was wonderful - staff were lovely, breakfast was good and dinner was excellent - very good value and they easily accommodated my dietary restrictions (vegetarian). Chamonix is generally expensive for accommodation, so relatively speaking, the accommodation was good value. The bus stop and train stop were 2 mins away, making travel to/from the mountains and to/from the accommodation super simple.
The size of the bed in the budget single room was super narrow - smaller than a normal single bed, even though I think the room could fit it easily. And second, the noise. My room was right by the stairs and people really tromp up and down, chatting away to each other, especially early in the morning (it is a ski town after all!). I think a few signs reminding people to be quiet in the halls could help with this.
