About this apartment rental
Cocoonr/Book&Pay Agency offers you, in Chartres, this charming studio of a surface of 40 m ² and being able to accommodate to 2 travelers. Located on the 1st floor (without elevator), it consists of a nice living room of 20 m², equipped kitchen, a night space in the living room and a bathroom. WiFi included, we are waiting for you!
The accommodation is composed as follows:
- An entrance with cupboards, storage and a coat rack.
- A living room of 20 m² with armchairs, TV, and dining area.
- A kitchen equipped with electric kettle, refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, induction cooker, washing machine...
- A bedroom area open to the living room, with a queen-size bed (160×200), sheets and towels included.
- A bathroom with bathtub.
- A separate toilet.
The studio is ideally located in Chartres, in a very pleasant environment with a view on the courtyard and located in the center of Chartres. You will be close to all the essential stores but also to boutiques, restaurants, bars, market...
Activities :
- Visit the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the nearby churches, the mounds that allow access to the lower town in record time.
- Stroll along the banks of La Petite Venise, a real haven of peace on the banks of the Eure (kayaks, pedal boats and aperitif on the water at the guinguette in the summer)
- A visit to the Picassiette house
- A visit to the Tourist Office is recommended not to miss anything
Events in the vicinity
- ChartrExpo an event place : puppy show, international unpacking show, eroticism show, home show...
- ChartrEstivales, from the end of June to the end of August, animates the heart of the city with numerous animations and concerts. At the end of May, a return to the 13th century with the medieval festival.
- Chartres en Lumières, from April to January, several sites belonging to an exceptionally rich heritage are illuminated. The festival of light is the highlight of Chartres en Lumières.
Transportation:
- You can park on the free public parking nearby. You can also park in the Q_Park paying parking lot less than 5 minutes away on foot.
- Nearest train station: Chartres is about 12 minutes away by foot.
The Relais des Portes is a free service for all: Bus shuttle from the station.
Each free shuttle passes every 20 minutes from 6:30 am to 11:30 pm from Monday to Saturday. The closest stop is at the Porte Saint Michel.

An intimate and quiet place in the middle of the old town pedestrian district. Lots of nice shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby, and just a quick walk to the cathedral and train station.

Excellent location, and a very interesting apartment with old world charm. We were only there for a couple of nights but enjoyed ourselves and exploring the town immensely. The check in was a little confusing but I chalk that up to us not speaking very good french but our host was very responsive in giving us directions on entering over the phone. As some have said in previous reviews the apartment might be challenging for older folks who have trouble with stairs but we found that part of the charm of the apartment. Our hosts were also very accommodating on our entrance and exit times which we really appreciated.

Le Grand St Aignan "Excellent stay for a couple of nights. The apartment was comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay. Very close to restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores, shops and the cathedral.
The kitchen had the basics for simple meals, but probably not enough for proper cooking.
Communication with the hosts was smooth and easy.
All in all, a great place to stay in Chartres!"
