The farm is very quiet and the view from the balcony was so calming. The setup of the beds in the three bedrooms was perfect for us and the beds were very comfortable. Nice hosts and as a bonus, there is a small pool to cool down in.

After time in many German cities and towns, our stay at Ralf’s farm was a welcome change of pace. His family was kind without being intrusive and the space was clean and neat.
The surrounding towns offered some nice restaurants and grocery stores, and we even visited a fun pool/water park.

We, Dutch-American family of 4 with 2 children 9/7y, had an overall pleasant stay. Things we appreciated:
- Clean, modern apartment (loved the central vacuum system!)
- Friendly hosts
- Beautiful, quiet rural site w/ farm animals
- Closeness to Bodensee, Swiss border, etc.
- Amazing dog (who spontaneously guided during forest hike!)
- Good price-quality deal
Good to know:
- There are 2 upper-floor apartments, with hosts (parents of owner) living downstairs. The 1st night we were placed in the smaller apartment by mistake, but it is still an ok size for a family of 4. However, we felt the level of noise coming from the family in the larger apartment was quite intrusive. Also, they left very early next morning and woke all of us up while packing bags, walking around and chatting. It's not that the family was extremely loud, our apartment just wasn't very soundproof. This was disappointing, because we are 'light' sleepers and our kids are quite noisy themselves, which is why we picked a more remote location for our stay. The 2nd and 3rd night in the larger apartment (very nice!) were much better for us, as bedrooms are not directly connected to the other apartment.
- although it is stated in the information, we had initially overlooked that the pool can not be used during the coldest months of the year. It is also not very large up close, so not necessarily an asset for older kids. Instead, we visited a modern swimming pool in Tuttlingen (Tuwass; 15 min drive), which was worth a visit but also very busy on the weekend.
- The hosts only spoke German and that limited communication somewhat. That was a pity, because we would have liked to ask more questions about the surroundings and they appeared very nice and willing to help out.

The flat is very clean & pretty. The parents live downstairs and the 2 flats are beside each other upstairs. Good room in the flat, the worst problem was there was NO air conditioning at all not even a fan! Heat was early 40's which was not good when the house is roasting day & night. The pool was fine, the kids enjoyed playing in it at times when it was empty. The farm had drainage works going on from 8am each day. Lovely place just not somewhere to go if you want to sleep past 6am. No shops open on a Sunday other than a bread shop so beware of this if arriving late on a Saturday as we were not. We loved our holiday in Germany a beautiful place.
