About this house rental
Karankawa Hideaway is a beautiful Canal House located on the Main Canal in Jamaica Beach featuring expansive views of the canal. Enjoy Beautiful Sunsets with Plenty of Comfortable seating upstairs and downstairs as well as lounge chairs on the upper deck to sunbath. Enjoy the Hot tub for a nice soak after a busy day of fun. After a day at the beach, come back to the house and enjoy the benefits of being right on the water. This house is family friendly, bring your fishing gear and fish right off the dock or bait the crab traps and catch some dinner! Gas Grill is Included. Central Air Conditioning upstairs and a mini split Air Conditioner/Heater downstairs. Three bedrooms upstairs provide plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Free Wi-Fi and a full size washer and dryer provide added convenience during your stay. This house has it all!
We have completely redecorated this beautiful house. The kitchen comes fully equipped with stainless steel appliances. Enjoy your morning coffee using the Keurig or full size coffee maker.
We are located in the Jamaica Beach community which features a nice public park and a public swimming pool that is family friendly and also has a lap lane. (please visit the city website for cost to access the pool as well as pool hours)
Several Restaurants are close by including Nate's West End Restaurant, Waterman's Restaurant "Galveston's Hidden Treasure" located on a marina with water views and Mario's Pizza. A short drive into Galveston will provide you with a wide variety of well known restaurants and well as more local favorites.
Just a few of the many Galveston Attractions include Schlitterbahn Water Park, Moody Gardens, Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier and the Galveston Strand.
Parking: Driveway parking will accommodate 4 vehicles. No parking allowed on the street or the grass.
Damage Protection: The total cost of your reservation for this property includes a refundable damage deposit. If you prefer to purchase a non-refundable damage protection plan for $59.00 please send an inquiry with this request and we will be more that happy to send you a quote with the damage protection plan instead of the refundable damage deposit.

We look forward to hosting you and your group but we have a few house rules and they MUST be followed. Please review BEFORE you make your reservation.
- Large gatherings/parties, Prom groups and open invitation gatherings are not allowed at any time. This is not a party house.
- The maximum number of guests is 9.
- Guest must be at least 25 years of age to reserve the home and adult guests may not rent on behalf of underage guests. Person making the reservation must be present during the reservation.
- Underage drinking, loud music or other disturbances to the neighbors is not permitted.
- We do have a Ring camera on the front of house facing the street for security purposes.
- Pets are not permitted.
- Parking for 4 cars, parking on the grass and/or street is prohibited.

This is a awesome home amd the location is just perfect. My family and I have really enjoyed this home. The fishing and kyaking and Hot tub were on point. So if your thinking about it do it because you wont be disappointed. The home owners are so excited to share this home with you. From the booking and all the emails they were very helpful and very nice. We will be rent this home again.

This is a great property and really nice location on the canal. We had everything we needed and then some. We also appreciated the great communication from the owners. Will look to rent it again!

We stayed with our teenager and 9 year old. The place is perfect. The home is so much nicer than the photos even show. Location cant be beat. When its not quite summer, you have the hot tub to jump in and enjoy in between fishing. We will stay here again.
