Cedar Cottage is a welcoming Cotswold holiday home which sleeps six guests, in three comfortable bedrooms, with two well-appointed bathrooms. This family friendly cottage offers a wonderful home-away-from-home experience, whether cosying up in the sitting room, cooking up a storm in the contemporary open plan kitchen/dining room or enjoying the sunshine in the garden. With its excellent location just a 15 minute walk from popular Bourton-on-the-Water, Cedar Cottage offers a relaxing space to enjoy year round with family or friends, and is even dog friendly, welcoming one dog!

We (four guests) found our stay at Cedar Cottage over the New Year period to be very enjoyable and an ideal base with which to explore the local Cotswold area. The cottage is well-equipped with plenty of space and has a welcoming feel to it (our Greyhound certainly settled in easily!)
The instructions provided in using the property were clear and thorough, with lots of background to the area with suggestions for places to explore.
There are a few minor issues starting to creep in (through usage of the cottage), the TV has a hazy purple band down the middle and a few walls / corners / bathroom could do with a minor refresh of paint here or there, but there was nothing that stopped our enjoyment of the property. We would certainly love to come back to Cedar Cottage; overall, a highly recommended property to consider if you are looking to visit the Cotswolds.

We had a wonderful stay at Cedar Cottage. The house was clean and tidy, with plenty of storage space available. The lounge was comfortable and cosy, we loved the imitation fire, but the TV has seen better days. The kitchen diner had everything we needed for our visit. We had no issues with the showers whilst there. Added bonus was being able to park on the driveway and unload the car via the back door. Although, Cedar Cottage is located at the start of the housing estate, we did not have any noise issues from the nearby industrial estate during our stay. Perfect location in the middle of the Cotswolds, within 30 minutes drive of many of the popular visitor attractions. Appreciated receiving the advanced guide and offers from StayCotswold, very informative. Highly recommend using them and staying at Cedar Cottage.

It’s a shame the bathroom issue it had a leak was not rectified before our stay as this was an issue weeks before but the cottage was great apart from that and location was ok to walk into bourton

The house was well presented with ample room for 4 adults.
Downside- grill was dirty, shower leaked in main bathroom, gate broken. The latter two issues had previously been identified in the guest book.
Good location for touring the Cotswolds.
