The room itself was comfortable and generally pleasant, but several service and practicality issues affected our overall experience. The bathroom setup was not ideal. There was no proper lock on the toilet door—only a glass sliding door—which offered very limited privacy and was inconvenient when sharing the room. The bed blanket cover was broken on arrival, but after informing reception it was replaced, which we appreciated. Drinking water availability was another small but recurring issue. Still water was not available; every time we asked, we were only given sparkling water. The location is also not very convenient, as the nearest bus stop is quite far from the hotel, making it difficult to get around without a car. The biggest disappointment was the airport shuttle service. We had to call several times to arrange pickup. Reception instructed us to call only once we were fully ready, which we did. After that, we waited outside for around 20 minutes in -2°C temperature. When the vehicle finally arrived, it was not marked with any hotel logo and appeared to be a third-party taxi. Unfortunately, the driver was very rude and started scolding us, claiming he couldn’t find us at the pickup point provided by the hotel. After a long journey and standing outside in the cold, this was a very unpleasant experience. There was no greeting, the driving felt aggressive, and after dropping us off, the behavior felt dismissive and disrespectful, even though the situation was not our fault. Overall, the room itself was good, but the lack of privacy, inconvenient location, and especially the poorly managed and unprofessional shuttle service significantly impacted our stay.
