Value for money Nice decor Nicely stocked kitchen equipment and utensils Clean Biscuits and fudge on arrival was a nice touch Free WiFi Buckets and spades for the children Good location within Cornwall to visit other areas: we went to Newquay 25 mins and lands end an hour drive.

Musty smell on arrival so I opened the windows and put the heating on which helped. This might be because it hadn't been used recently as it is only begining of the season (April). Hot water took awhile to kick in We ran out of toilet paper but got some from the clubhouse. There was a clothes airer too but we couldn't get it to work.

Property is lovely and well equipped. Lovely location near the pub and swimming pool. There is a nice park for the kids. All staff members are friendly. Perfect location for the bus route into Perranporth and Newquay

The location is great, nice views from back window. The host provided a couple of towels, toilet roll, Wi-fi, vacuum, a little fan, cleaning products, and other things which were really helpful. The decor was lovely and the beds were really comfy. Good amount of space and couldn’t hear the entertainment complex too much in the evening despite being back into it. The host was quick to reply to any questions.

The cleanliness of the place was not good with minimal middle of the room vacuuming. When we arrived we went to put the kitchen stuff in but had to clean the sticky door handles, table and cupboard doors, under the sink smells off. I cleaned the hob best I could with fairy liquid and sponge. The skirting boards had a layer of dust as well as around the edges of the carpets. Under the sofa there were splodges with mold on. And I vacuumed under the sofa cushions too. The children’s bedroom had thick dust under the beds and so many spiders. There were many spiders all over the house. The bathroom wooden mat underneath was grim as well as the base of the toilet and behind with visible wee stains in the corner. The sink wasn’t draining very well so I managed to hook out some of the stuck hair and grime. The windows have finger prints and whatever else all over them and look filthy. The fan in the bathroom does not work and the microwave was full of unhealthy rust (as well as being dirty). John the host said he will get these things sorted. The bathroom plastic panel connected to the shower was loose, as well as the front door strip. The airer could hardly stand up with only a couple of items on and kept collapsing. They’re the main things. After spending the first evening and morning cleaning it was pleasant to stay here despite the sink smells, unusable airer and no airflow in the bathroom. I feel a bit more care needs to be taken with the cleanliness.
