First of all, I like the style of the main building: the fact that it was once a private villa gives it a special character that a new building rarely matches. Furthermore, the hotel has few rooms so that you do not feel like a "mass tourist".
The dining/breakfast room breathes "old charm" and the terrace, with a view over the bay of Saint Tropez is a perfect place to sit and relax or even do some work.
The room itself was in an adjacent building, shielded from the main street by the villa, which resulted in a very quiet night.
A small beach with a nice beach bar and restaurant (I ate there in the evening) is right across the street.
The pool, which I did not use, is an additional plus, and had a very good size.
Very nice staff. Overall an excellent price/quality relationship.

For those who want to be walking distance away from bustling party and night life, this is perhaps not so ideal.
