As a lone traveller, who stayed for 7 nights, I found the accommodation more than adequate for my needs. The room is set in the garden with its own entrance and garden furniture in a very sunny spot. The room and en-suite were very clean and comfortable. The owner, a very pleasant lady, provided a good selection of teas and coffee. Milk and water was also available in a small fridge in the room. I would have no hesitation in staying at Southerhay again.

Liked the location in Beer
The room was tired; an uncomfortable bed, threadbare rugs, a tv with poor reception. The towels smelled a little. Ok it was the end of season and the proprietor tried very hard but sadly this room was not that good.
