Easy booking, entry and introduction were straight forward.
Comfortable home had everything we would need
The location of a bit of surprise but for a weekend in Durham it was fine as it was a short journey into the city.
Main issue was the cot bed as it didn’t a mattress base was was resolved by the second night

The site was small, tidy and fairly quiet. Holiday home was clean and cared for, large tv, cooker and microwave. Beds were comfy. Essentials of tea, coffee,bread, milk and eggs were provided which were welcome as no shops on site or nearby..
Lovely walk down Shotton bank (left out of main gate) and through tunnel to Castle Eden Dene nature reserve where we saw a variety of wild flowers and some deer.
Impossible for small person to reach top shelves in cupboards. A small stool would have helped in kitchen as would, a colander and a measuring jug. Bathroom small and shower not easy to adjust. There was a crack in double bedroom window which owner may not be aware of.
Missed turning to site first time and it was quite a way to shops and restaurants so needed to drive.
No information on local area in home.

The central location for visiting the whole county was good with easy access to two main roads.
The static was the standard size with everything needed in a peaceful site. Overall it was good value for money.
Sadly there was a smell that we believed must have been in the drains as everywhere else was fine. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue. The table was sticky, the sink required a full scrub with bleach and the kettle needed descaling. The shower was very smelly so it got a thorough airing and some bleach down the drain.
