Inside was really spacious. The number of bathrooms was a big plus too. The variety of sun and shadey places was perfect, as was the pool. All round it was one of the best villas we have used in Turkey.

All bedrooms en-suite and pool. The only issue we had with the pool is that the owner (David) had placed 2 large plaster cast Eagles at the corner of the pool. These are quite dangerous and not suitable for people getting in and out of the pool and playing games poolside. 
1. At the start of our stay, we were informed about the security cameras facing the villa and pool. We were told that they were for “show” and we would not be videoed. This was not true. The cameras are fully functional and the owner David watches footage as he was able to raise the fact that one of the Eagles was damaged. Hasan who takes care of the villa, said it wasn’t a problem, but the owner David wanted it replaced. We offered to pay for it. Clearly the front of the villa and the whole pool area being videoed is something guests need to be aware of particularly those with children. We asked David to clarify the invasion of privacy. He responded by saying he had given us a poor review.
2. At no point were any of us able to have a warm shower it was either cold or scalding hot. Raised this with the Villa owner but to no avail. 
3. Coming back to the Eagles. One of them fell and sustained damage. We offered to replace it. The Eagles are a hazard, particularly for guests with children as they are quite tall and at each corner of the pool. Getting in and out of the pool and playing games around poolside will mean coming into contact with the plaster cast Eagles. Frankly, they should simply not be there.
4. No condiments or toilet roll.
5. The Villa is situated just over a kilometre away from the outskirts of Dalyan, so it’s a bit of a walk to get into town.
