The property owner had the fire going in the fireplace so when we arrived, the house was warm and welcoming. The water view from the small room was lovely. It was a peaceful and cozy place to stay. A short distance drive to Donegal town, and the Killybegs. A bit longer drive to Slieve league and the Malin Beg. It was nice to have the washer/ dryer available in the house too.
As Americans, we weren't familiar with the two hour heating system but we appreciated that the owner left us a guide on how to operate it.

Lovely renovated cottage. Nice decor and good space for an overnight stay. Off the street parking.
We found the beds really uncomfortable. They seemed to be old spring mattresses, and I ended up sleeping on the couch. It was raining during our stay, and not having any door mats, front or back, to wipe our feet was a shame, as everything was nice and clean.
