We loved how quirky and homely it felt
To be honest the stairs to the lounge
BUT that is because I’ve had a stroke and found them hard

We stayed here whilst visiting family in the area and it was just lovely. Clean and comfortable, great location and all the extras that you need for a nice stay.

Only a very short stay at Forget Me Not Cottage for work, I wish it had been longer. This is a lovely quirky and comfortable cottage, spacious and well equipped. Having a parking place that is easily accessible in beautiful but hilly and windy-laned Ironbridge was a great help, especially when travelling with dogs and their beds and paraphernalia. Centrally located for the museums, the bridge and fabulous walks. Many thanks to the owners.

The location of the property is excellent. You can see that this property was well decorated when it was first opened. It is large enough for a family. It has the potential to be excellent.
Unfortunately the property could do with a deep clean. The cooker was dirty as was the fridge and microwave. There was food splashed on the wall above the cooker. We ended up just ordering food in as we didn’t want to use them or the plates etc. There was also a lot of cobwebs and dust everywhere. Also the downstairs part must suffer from damp as everything down there had a musky smell. The beds were pretty low and too soft for our liking. There were a few bits damaged that could do with being repaired. Kitchen drawers etc. The most disappointing part though was that we booked this to attend a wedding and clearly stated that it was 4 adults and two children coming. We had counted on the sofa bed for two of the adults. They didn’t tell us until a few hours before check in, when we were already making our 6 hour journey there, that the couch wasn’t to be used as a bed anymore. They had left a fold out mattress/couch instead. Unfortunately it’s was very small and even the smallest adult had their feet on the floor while sleeping. Photos were taken when we got there but won’t be shown as it would be unfair when they can be easily rectified.
