We stayed at this Airbnb in Bournemouth and honestly… it was far too convenient, which felt a bit suspicious. Everything was within walking distance—the bars, restaurants, even the beach—so there was absolutely no excuse not to go out and spend money we don’t have. Thanks for that.
The place itself was annoyingly clean. Like, uncomfortably clean. You know when you walk in and think, “Great, now I actually have to behave like an adult and not spill wine everywhere”? Yeah, that. The living room was so comfy it basically seduced us into doing absolutely nothing productive, and the kitchen had everything we needed—which ruined our plan of ordering takeaway and blaming “lack of utensils.”
Communication with the host was also ridiculous—quick, polite, helpful… just completely took away our chance to complain about anything. Where’s the drama? Where’s the chaos? Frankly, disappointing.
All in all, a dangerously good place to stay. Too clean, too easy, too comfortable… almost like they want you to enjoy yourself.
Would we stay again? Unfortunately, yes.

Great layout, perfect location, very nice bathroom, easy to access.
There was little black hairs throughout the property and sone of the unit tops weren’t cleaned very well.

The place is in a great location for shops, bars and the beach. The lounge and kitchen are a great space to get together. Plenty of plates/glasses/mugs etc. The outside space is good although we didn't really use it as it was December.
This is not a criticism at all but more feedback. There was a small selection of cooking utensils and no knives other than the knives and forks. We could have done with a couple of sharp knives for bread and fruit / cheese etc and it would be worth mentioning that a tea towel for drying dishes isn't provided.

Good location - easy to walk down to the seafront and to restaurants.
Handy parking spot for 1 car.
Large fridge, table which could fit all of us to eat together as long as we brought chairs from the bedrooms.
Very responsive. I had to contact the owner and the local contact a few times and they were very responsive.
Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean.
Poor sleep: Most of the people in my group complained about the noise made by the upstairs neighbours overnight, which kept waking them up. It's a basement flat and two of the bedrooms have no windows, which people didn't like.
Cleanliness: We washed all the plates and cutlery before using them as they didn't look clean. There is no dishwasher so I suppose you are reliant on the last tenants and we were unlucky.
No coffee machine, sharp knives, kitchen roll: My friends had read the reviews so we brought the above ourselves.
Capacity: It says it sleeps 11. There were 8 of us and it was a squash. We are old friends in our fifties and happy to share, but the bed situation wasn't great, e.g. the "snug" double is wedged into a gap so you need to scootch to the end of the bed to get in and out, and one is against a wall so one person would need to climb over the other. So we ended up with more people in the group room which had bunk beds but no windows.
There is 1 shower/bath. Two would be better for a place which is aimed at groups.
Darts & table football: we didn't play. The dartboard is in a hallway next to 2 bedroom doors. You'd need to make sure you know no-one is in those rooms before playing. We liked the idea of playing table football but there were no balls.
Says toilet roll included, but in the check-in message at 1pm on day of arrival, the owner said they provide some, but you will need to bring your own too. A little strange. Why not say that in the main description or just provide enough?
Access is tricky for anyone with mobility problems as it's down some steep stairs behind the building.
