About this villa rental
Located near the Alpilles and close to the Luberon, in the heart of authentic Provence, this superb villa is nestled in a lush green setting, facing south, and is just a 15-minute walk from the village center, its shops, and restaurants. For lovers of beautiful Provence, this stunning fully air-conditioned house will welcome you for a restful and unforgettable stay.
The villa and its annex can accommodate up to 15 guests (9 beds).
Ground floor:
• 1 master bedroom (160x200 bed) with a dressing room and large en-suite shower room/WC,
• 2 bedrooms (160x200 beds) sharing a shower room,
• 1 bedroom (160x200 bed) with private shower room/WC,
• A shared additional shower room with double sinks and 1 separate WC.
First Floor:
• A dormitory room dedicated to 3 children (2 beds of 90x190 and 1 bed of 120x190),
• An office space.
Living Spaces: The living areas include a beautiful living room with a fireplace (65" large screen TV, Orange box) and an open-plan kitchen equipped with all modern conveniences (American fridge, stone sink, induction hob, Nespresso machine, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, etc.), all opening onto a vast terrace.
Annex Apartment: A ground-floor apartment, composed of a bedroom (160x200 bed), a shower room/WC, a living/TV area with a convertible sofa for 2, and a kitchenette, will allow you to host guests or house staff independently.
Outdoor Amenities: You can enjoy the shaded pergola and a sheltered summer dining area equipped with an electric plancha. For relaxation lovers, the enclosed landscaped park (7000m2), the secure pool (12x5m) with an electric cover and a shallow beach area for children, the pétanque court, the ping-pong table, and some outdoor games will be available for the enjoyment of both young and old.
The gardener and pool technician, trusted individuals, are independent and come on Mondays and Wednesdays for the weekly maintenance of the property. A high-quality concierge service is available to ensure your arrival and departure, as well as to respond to your needs and emergencies during your stay. Upon request and for an additional fee, the concierge can also arrange transportation, extra cleaning, babysitting, meals, a private chef, relaxation/massage sessions, excursions, and more.
For stays of a minimum of 7 nights, final cleaning, bed linen, towels, and pool towels, as well as beds made upon arrival (one set per person per stay), are included in the rental.
For stays less than 7 nights, you will need to pay on arrival the end-of-stay cleaning fee and optional rental linen's bed and towels (350€ cleaning and 20€/pax/trip linen).
We strongly recommend that you insure yourself for the rental of your stay. When you leave, any deterioration observed will give rise to a deduction from the deposit, or even an additional invoice in the event of repair or replacement exceeding the amount of the deposit. A minimum of €150 will be retained in the event of: - waste, bins, bottles left in the house, - dishes and cleaning of household appliances not carried out, - presence of cigarette butts, dog droppings, suspicious stains or traces on walls, linens, furniture, etc.,
Ideal Location: Only 20 minutes from the Avignon TGV station (2h40 from Paris Gare de Lyon) or 1 hour from Marseille Airport, you can fully enjoy the region with family or friends. Just 10 minutes from the center of St. Rémy de Provence and 30 minutes from downtown Avignon.

I would echo all the reviews this villa has received… it is an exceptional property. To quote a recent review, it is truly “spacious and stylish with a well-appointed kitchen.” My group thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space with its large pool, beautiful gardens and gathering areas. As has been noted by others, this villa is well situated for exploring. For us, it was Avignon to the north… neighboring St Remy de Provence and Les Baux to the near south, Pont du Gard and Nimes to the west… and the beautiful mountain village of Gourdes to the east… (special even past the lavender harvest.) The small village of Eyragues less than 5 minutes away provided us with very good eating and drinking experiences. I would point out a challenge that I would not be overly critical of… Water is a precious commodity in the area, and the pressure in the house was poor if in high demand, as in 6 adults looking to shower in the morning. We worked it out, no one went without, but it should be noted. Addressing other practical concerns… the beds were comfortable, the house was very clean, Wi-Fi in the communal spaces worked well and the TV was terrific. Finally, and like all the other reviews, I would give special applause to Poun, the concierge. She was welcoming, always responsive to my texts and provided a long list of helpful suggestions which we relied on. She is a charming ambassador for the villa… and among the many reasons to give high marks.

This villa is every bit as beautiful as the pictures. It is a spacious and stylish home with a well-appointed kitchen. It's on a large property with lovely gardens and lots of birdsong. It's a 10 minute drive from St. Remy de Provence, which is a charming town with lots of good restaurants, and it was an easy jumping off point for us to tour all around Provence--Avignon, Arles, Les Baux, Pont du Gard,Aix and Marseilles. This house is designed for relaxing around shared meals and enjoying the pool, so be sure to allow plenty of time for that. I have special gratitude to Poun, the concierge, who was not only exceptionally gracious and helpful in finding local highlights and resources, but who also spent several hours looking for my lost wedding ring.

We enjoyed our vacation at the 'Mas des Alpilles'. What we particularly liked was the very spacious and comfortable house, large enough for our family (8 adults and 3 children). The house is fully air-conditioned, which was definitely necessary given the heatwave during our stay. On the other hand, there is a spacious covered area that stays in the shade all day, where you can actually spend most of your time. From this covered area, you have a beautiful view of the garden and the pool. Since the pool is coverable, we didn't have to worry about the safety of the children. The pool, measuring 12 x 5 meters, is very spacious and certainly larger than an average pool. Evenings are spent in the lounge at the foot of the pool. The house is located in a very quiet area, about 1.5 km from a typical quiet French village without mass tourism. Who would suspect that behind the large gate there is a beautiful garden with a driveway lined with cypress trees? Since our family consisted of 4 households, the spacious parking for the cars was definitely appreciated. The house is in a perfect location to further explore Provence, without congested roads and traffic jams. There is smooth contact with a very helpful concierge in case of any problems. This holiday accommodation has pleased us so much that we are definitely considering returning next year. In doing so, we are breaking our usual rule " life is too short to go on vacation to the same place twice."
