Beautiful location directly on the Tegernsee. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Dining options on the property are excellent, but also plenty of local restaurants in the area. Spa at the hotel is first class.
Some small problems with the mechanicals in the bathroom, but they were quickly addressed by the staff. The upgrade costs to have a lake view were quite hefty - we were hoping for an off-season rate with a partial lake view, but too expensive. We settled for the view of town and the hills.
