About this house rental
This charming holiday home near Præstø offers complete peace and relaxation in a beautiful natural setting. The thatched half-timbered house was originally built around 1800 and has been carefully modernized over the years. The renovations preserve the historic character and rustic charm of the house while providing modern comfort for a cozy stay. On the ground floor, you will find a practical utility room, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a welcoming living room perfect for family gatherings or quiet evenings. The first floor has two bedrooms with single beds that can be joined to form double beds. Both rooms feature nostalgic details, including lower ceiling heights typical of the period. Please note that the staircase to the attic is fairly steep. The property sits on a private natural plot surrounded by forest, providing tranquility and space to enjoy the outdoors. A terrace, hammock, and swings create ideal spots for relaxation. Except for one neighboring house, the property is secluded and only a few hundred meters from Præstø Fjord. The fjord offers shallow, child-friendly waters perfect for swimming and playing. This idyllic home is ideal for families or couples seeking a quiet retreat in nature with a historic touch. It provides a unique combination of heritage, comfort, and outdoor enjoyment. Explore the surroundings, enjoy the scenic views, or simply relax in the peaceful setting. Please note: rental to youth groups is not permitted.
