Clean and great value for money

Nothing - it's very simple but then so is the cost

Easy to find, self check in. Lots of parking, close to our room.

Could hear some noise from room next door, and above.

Good value for money, but beware of the very acoustic rooms! The reception has a tendency to place guests next to each other, while the rest of the hotel is completely empty. Rooms are very small and basic, with only one electrical socket, and with a tiny bathroom. The heating was working properly. The parking was free and just in front of the hotel. Location close to highway exit and fairly close to Avallon center with good bakeries.

The top bunk bed too close to the ceiling, with an unstable barrier and an uncomfortable ladder. There were only two towels for three people. There was no proper duvets, only blankets. We had poor luck to have loud neighbours during the night and were woken up by guests motorcyclists early in the morning.
