A footpath and stone steps lead you up to the entrance, and once inside you are welcomed into your private hallway, with the staircase sweeping up before you.

Up on the first floor, you have the impressive and elegant, large living area at the front, with the most incredible views over the town. Here you can unwind on the comfortable sofas, watching the world go by, with the option of watching Sky TV (with Netflix) if you can drag your eyes away from the panorama through the large, panelled bay windows. There is also a wood burner, for those cosy, atmospheric evenings in. The stylish, modern kitchen area is finished to a high specification, with integrated units and quality appliances. This is a spacious and well-stocked kitchen, sure to delight.

Upstairs on the second floor, you have two double bedrooms, boasting the best views in the house, across the rooftops to Whitby Abbey and St. Mary’s Church, and out to sea. Both bedrooms feature Emma J Shipley furnishings. There is also a shower room with rainfall shower and a bathroom on this floor, both finished to an exceptionally high standard, to add a little touch of luxury to your stay – it’s not often you find a shower with crystal chandeliers!

Each room has been lovingly furnished, with both funky retro pieces, as well as tasteful modern furnishings, adding to that unique sense of character. There is also a small chill-out area outside the two attic bedrooms. At the front of the house there is a lawned garden as well as free, on-street parking. You can also enjoy a leisurely stroll along to Whitby’s Lighthouse or hook your catch of the day along the pier. Within the town you will be spoilt for choice for things to do, with panoramic views atop the 199 steps, the wonders of the Gothic Whitby Abbey, the fun-filled Dracula Experience, the picturesque Pannett Park, home to the Whitby Museum, and the Endeavour tall-ship in the harbour.
