About this house rental
Bufati is the old name of a farmhouse situated in the countryside between Florence and Siena. The small medieval village of San Donato in Poggio is about 1 km away. Here we are in one of the most charming area, among vineyards and olive-groves, near to very interesting sites like Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and Monteriggioni.

This place was beautiful! Probably one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. Laura was so helpful with anything we needed. The pool was amazing, we used almost everyday. Very central location. We visited florence several times and also siena, San Gimignano and greve. All within 40 minutes driving. Laura also had some great suggestions for eating. I would love to come back again. Thank you Laura for sharing your wonderful home!

This BEAUTIFUL, unique property made for a lovely 4 night stay. (Bring your slippers as the floors can be a bit rough on your socks, but otherwise a very beautiful, CLEAN property) Beds / pillows are a teeny bit uncomfortable, but the suite is incredibly clean, the hosts so friendly & AMAZING. We enjoyed the solitude very much after driving from a BUSY stay in Florence. Wineries nearby, as well as the beautiful town of San Donato. Owners are SO lovely, property/ pool lovely, it’s a win win. *Note there is no hot tub as listed. Beautiful bathroom with large sink, great shower. Wardrobes in both bedrooms & desks, each suitable for either a makeup table or computer desk. Washing machine on site worked great, drying rack provided outside. Wifi was a bit weak. For a peaceful get away this is the place for sure! Grocery store nearby Owner responsive to any & every question. Thankyou Laura & Sonia for all your help, so appreciated.

We booked this house for a week and enjoyed our very calm, relaxing and quiet stay a lot!
Thanks to Laura the landlord - she was very supportive, helpful and a kind biz partner!
The house is located on a small hill, the path (not street ;-) ) is a typical Tuscany landscape style - I wouldn't use a sports car to come to the house.
However, being there we had so, sooo fantastic views around in the Chianti area and to the little village San Donato. Behind us were trees.
The pool could be used for only the 7 people we were there in summary (with the other house) and the owners who live next to "our" house. We saw her every day in the best manner.
The house itself is furnished with really nice, typical Tuscany / Italian furniture - it felt very cosy and warm from the very beginning. Dishes and pots are there, anything else you should bring with you, incl. salt & pepper, toilet paper and the fundamental things you need. Anything else you can buy in the Coop 5min per car.
Net-net: I can't recommend this flat to anybody since we will definitely come back - alone and with friends for the other house! And we want to have the houses available for us and our next stay ;-)

Very nice appartment, Laura and her sister in law were very helpfull. The location is right in the hart of the chianti region! No doubt to book this lovely place ! We had a wonderfull time !
