This is a very well laid out cottage with good facilities and located quite near the village centre, albeit down a very steep hill. The view from the back of the property was stunning and the bed was very comfortable.
The outside patio space to the rear of the property was scruffy and unkempt. The garden path which looked so inviting online was blocked off and overgrown. The parking space was very tight and there was no mention of the extreme gradient leading up to the property from the main road. Had we travelled with our VW T5 (SWB) the winding hill to the terrace of cottages would have been close to the limits of the vehicle.
The welcome pack was very basic and, even though we were staying for four nights there was only one budget- sized toilet roll provided. The inside of the cottage was a little tired and the carpet in the living room badly marked by embers from the fire.
