We found the lodge clean and well equipped and the staff very friendly. The only thing lacking was worktop space in the kitchen area. However, this would not distract us from booking the lodge again as the location of the site is very good for walks and local attractions.

Lodge was well equipped,clean ,transport needed if visiting different places,train station across the road,friendly staff,nice little cafe would recommend a stay
