The house was great. Plenty of room for 8 people. The grounds were cozy. Did not feel like we were in a housing development. We had everything we needed.

We have stayed in dozens of cabins and etc. in Hocking Hills. This house was spotless, the cleanest we had ever stayed in. Location was great. My son-in-law went fishing in the lake (and released the fish back in). Was about 5 to10 minutes from town. The house was well stocked. KUDOS TO THE OWNER !!!!!!

Host was responsive to questions. Very clean and new on the inside. Trash bins on the outside clearly had not been picked up in over a week or two. Flies and smell with the 90 degree heat was annoying. Couldn’t even get all our trash to fit in the cans. AC inside the house struggled to maintain a good temp with the heat as well. Nice access to the lake. Neighbor kid kept coming over to fish off the dock. Seemed to think the whole lake front was his. Neighbors across the street complained about us parking on the street. Can’t really control the neighbors l, but just to be aware for future guests. There was also a sign inside the house that said alcohol was not permitted. Don’t remember seeing anything in the listing about that.

The home was very nice and clean and well maintained. The only thing we thought that was concerning is the rules specifically stated that you didnt flush any toliet paper down either toliet. To us the thought of this was very concerning and unsanitary.
